BOOKS & SUPPLIES
Students are required to buy most of their textbooks and photocopied material. They are
responsible for bringing these textbooks and materials to class when necessary; if they
repeatedly fail to do so, parents will be notified by the teacher. Students should take all
materials home at the end of the school year. Parents should be aware of the fact that books
or photocopied material that contain the name of G-d in Hebrew cannot be thrown away. They
must be buried in a genizah or special area (often in a Jewish cemetery) in accordance with
Jewish law. Parents not sure about the proper disposal of the material should contact the
Rabbi.
