Shalom Chaverim!
Hello Friends!
It is my pleasure to welcome you back to another exciting year for the Flemington Jewish
Community Center Youth Group and Flemington Young Judaea. We have an exciting year
planned, and hope that you can join us.
Everyone at the FJCC is invited to join our regular meetings. Students in 6th through 8th
grade are invited to join our Tsofim club. Regular club meetings will be on Mondays, from 6:
30 to 7:30 PM, on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, and dinner will be served. Our first
meeting will be on September 18th. Membership dues for 6th graders have already been paid
by your Hebrew School fees, and we encourage everyone to come and find out how much
fun Flemington YJ is!
High school students can join our Bogrim club. Bogrim meetings are every week on
Mondays, from 7:45 to 8:45 PM, starting on September 11thl.
Young Judaea is the youth movement of Hadassah and is the oldest and largest Zionist
youth organization in America. Through its conventions, camps, and local groups, Young
Judaea strives to achieve klal yisrael - unity of the Jewish people around the world. Young
Judaea reaches out to Jewish youth of any affiliation - Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and
Reconstructionist - providing opportunities for Jewish youth to explore their Jewishness and
to develop a lasting identification with Zionism. Kashrut, Shabbat, and chagim (holidays) are
observed throughout all Young Judaea activities.
We’ve already planned some great events for this year. We will be holding youth group
services, for grades 5 and up, every other month, beginning in October. Tsofim can look
forward to Fall Camp at Sprout Lake, November 12th – 14th. We are having a themed movie
night on December 9th. And instead of our ski trip, we are starting a ski club! Information

My goal is to make Flemington Young Judaea the most successful it can be. If you have
any thoughts or questions about the coming year, please do not hesitate to contact me. I’m

6:30 – 7:30. Dinner will be served.

When Hebrew School is closed in observance of any holiday or inclement weather, there will
be no meetings.
