An Evening with Steve Katz of Blood, Sweat and Tears

We welcome Steve Katz of Blood, Sweat and Tears to the FJCC on December 14th. He will regale us with stories of his years in the famous band and his experience in The Blues Project, American Flyer and the Even Dozen Jug Band. There is sure to be some music too.

Before (or after) the event, see the fascinating film “What the Hell Happened to Blood, Sweat and Tears” available on various streaming services. The movie depicts the story of a top rock band that was unknowingly embroiled in a political rat’s nest involving the U.S. State Department, the Nixon White House and a controversial concert tour behind the Iron Curtain. As a result, they found themselves in the crossfire of a polarized America, as divided then as it is now.
