Tu B’Shevat Seder
This year, Tu b’Shevat, the “birthday of the trees,” will be celebrated by our FJCC community on Friday January 22nd. The festivities start with a Tot Shabbat service at 5:30 pm, followed by an all-families-friendly Shabbat Dinner at 6:00 pm. During the meal, we will learn about the shiv’at ha’minim (seven species endemic to the Land of Israel): wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, dates.
The evening continues with the Hebrew School students leading Shabbat services at 7:30 pm.
