Tu B’Shevat Seder over Zoom
Who is invited? Everyone, young and old, families and friends
When? Thursday, January 28th, 6:00 PM
What will we do?
Participate in Tu B’Shevat Seder led by Rabbi Cohen, and learn how to grow vegetables from food scraps with Sue Kamich

 

Please shop for these items in advance of the Seder, if you are able:
•       Red grape juice and white grape juice (or red and white wine for adults)
1st fruit: one or more of the following: almond, banana, coconut, grapefruit, orange, papaya, passion fruit, pecan, persimmon, pineapple, pistachio, pomegranate, pomelo, or walnut (fruits with edible insides, and inedible outsides)
•       2nd fruit: one or more of the following: apricot, avocado, cherry, date, mango, nectarine, olive, peach, and plum (fruits with edible outsides, and inedible insides)
•       3rd fruit: one or more of the following: blackberry, blueberry, carob, fig, grape, kiwi, kumquat, raspberry, star fruit, and strawberry (fruits entirely edible)

For growing vegetables from food scraps, please bring, if you are able:
Mason jar, glass small custard dish, glass cup or dish
Tops from carrots or a pineapple
Bottoms from scallions, celery, bok choy, romaine lettuce•
Toothpicks
