Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for Jews and a day of fasting. Traditionally, we spend the day in the synagogue praying for forgiveness for wrongs we have committed. This year, Kol Nidre services will start at 6:15 pm on Sunday September 20th. Then, the following day, services will start at 8:15 am and continue all day. There will be Jr. Congregation and babysitting at 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. The Yom Kippur fast ends at 7:20 pm and (for those who have registered in advance) there is a simple meal following the end of the services.

If you would like to participate in the Yom Kippur Break the Fast meal, you must register in advance on Shul Cloud or by contacting the FJCC office.
