Moskovitz-Fellin Center Series

Thanks to generous underwriting by the Moskovitz-Fellin Charitable Fund, the Flemington Jewish Community Center offers a broad variety of educational, social, and entertaining events for kids to adults through its Center Series programming. These events include lectures, author series, cooking classes, concerts, and movies. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, we transitioned our events online and virtual!

The CENTER SERIES is planning a full line-up of educational and entertaining programming for 2020-2021. We are always interested in your input about activities for the year. If you want to join the planning committee, please speak with Mindy Engle-Friedman.

We continue to need your support to help make the CENTER SERIES a reality. If you’d like to make a general donation to the CENTER SERIES, please let us know the dollar amount and how you’d like to be listed in the brochure as a sponsor. If you’d prefer to sponsor a specific program, let us know and we will indicate your sponsorship of that event

Recent and planned happenings include:
• Beginners sketch class
• Kabbalat Shabbat with the Four Hermaneutics
• Clouds in My Coffee Concert (desserts by Gali)

Jewish Book Council/Author Events

The Jewish Book Council is a nonprofit organization “devoted exclusively to the support and celebration of Jewish literature.” The FJCC is a network member of the JBC and every year we invite several JBC “authors on tour” with newly published books to speak at the FJCC..  We have had visits from cookbook authors, sportswriters, historians, journalists, and even comedians with new books out. Previously the authors have come in person. This year our author events have been on Zoom.
